Former Ghanaian rapper known in the past as ‘Dennyem’ now a gospel artist by the name Nazareth Opoku Agyeman who is famously known by all as ‘call me Nazareth’ revealed in an interview with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa on Happy FM that he went for rituals because he wanted to be successful in his music career.

Nazareth said he started rapping at an early age with friends like Sarkodie, D Cryme, Stonebwoy, Yaw Siki among others.
When he realized that all his friends were getting ahead of him in the industry, he decided to go for spiritual help to become very successful with the influence of another underground artist.

Indeed he embarked on the deal and went with his friend to see a mallam at Ashiaman but unfortunately for him, the friend he went with sold him out to the Mallam to kill him in exchange for riches.

According to him, they spoke in a different tongue he didn’t understand.
Due to this conspiracy between his friend and the ‘juju’ man, he said he ended up mad for two years until he was touched by God and received his freedom and healing.
