Videos emerging on social media purportedly from the area earmarked to become the Oti region if today’s referendum gathers enough “Yes” votes, show some suspicious voting by some voters.
The first video shows a man spending an unusually long time in casting his vote while his body language suggests he must have been doing something more than just casting a ballot.
The other video also shows another man who after spending rather a long time in casting his vote moved to the ballot box, dropped something inside and shook it.
Some citizens have expressed worry over the incidents and some believe the men captured must have been up to something fishy.
