Information reaching Happy FM indicates that nets holding together and preventing loose rocks along the Aburi-Koforidua highway from falling into the middle of the highway have been destroyed filling the road with rocks from the mountains.
According to a concerned citizen identified as Alberto, the road has now become a one way stretch with those coming from Koforidua to Accra experiencing the roadblock at Peduase and those from Accra heading towards Koforidua also facing the road diversion at Ayi Mensah.
He urged all road users of that stretch to slow down and drive carefully.
Alberto also petitioned the Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta to see to it that, the road was quickly attended to and the loose rocks removed.
