Black Stars striker Felix Afena-Gyan scored his first preseason goal as AS Roma defeated Sunderland 2-0.
The 19-year-old was introduced in the second half with the game seemingly heading for a draw and broke the deadlock for José Mourinho’s side at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira in Portugal.
Afena-Gyan timed his run to perfection, before sublimely smashing the ball first-time beyond the reach of Patterson.
He also assisted Zaniolo for the second goal of the game as Roma walked away as victors.
