The Deputy General Secretary of the National Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has claimed that his party has done phenomenally well in governance as the incumbent Government.

He was speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s “Epa Hoa Daben” show, when he said: “Generally, we have done well as a Government, but there is still room for improvement”.

He stated that policies such as the Free SHS policy, the National Identification Registration and the Nations Builders Corp (NABCO) programme proved that the current government has met the expectations of Ghanaians.

Though he praised the government highly, some Ghanaians seemed to disagree with his assessment as members of the public who were interviewed on the “Around Town Segment” of the “Epa Hoa Daben show” held a differing view. Whilst most of them believed that the government was yet to fulfill its promises, others rated the incumbent government’s performance on the low.
