A section of Kumawood actors and actresses who supported and campaigned for the NDC are calling on President John Dramani Mahama to recognize their effort with appointments.

Kala Kumasi who spoke on behalf of her members said a section of kumawood actors and actresses who supported the NDC in numerous ways including campaigning for them contributed to the victory of the party in the 2024 general elections.

“Through our campaign adverts and other forms of communicating the party manifesto promises to Ghanaians, we worked very hard for the message to reach every corner of the country contributing to the party’s victory. We believe it’s only fair that our efforts are recognized with appointments in the new government,” she stated.

“We have seen that a lot of people are being appointed into your administration to help you manage the affairs of the state, kindly remember us”, she added.
