Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo Markin has called on Speaker Alban Bagbin to refrain from calling the Minority in Parliament, Micro- Minority.
According to Afenyo Markin, the name Micro Minority undermines the dignity of the Minority.
“The Minority Caucus hereby protests the description given to us by the Speaker”.
He stated that, “we do not have any Micro Minority”.
“We won’t accept Micro Minority, we are Minority we find it unacceptable”.
The description, made during a debate on the floor of parliament sparked an immediate protest.
