World Cup: Connect with Greatness on DStv & GOtv

MultiChoice Ghana over the weekend launched its FIFA World Cup coverage campaign dubbed “Connect with Greatness” This campaign will give Ghanaians a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the global football spectacle live and in HD on SuperSport, exclusive to DStv and GOtv on all DStv packages.
At the launch event held at the Champs Sports Bar in Accra, Nii Amah Dagadu Corporate Affairs Manager, MultiChoice Ghana also announced that “all 64 matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia will be available live in HD to DStv and GOtv viewers, with viewers getting the best of expert commentary and analyses on six dedicated SuperSport channels.”
Speaking after the event, Nii Amah Dagadu added: ” We are proud to have been broadcasting the World Cup to our soccer fans around Ghana since 2006 and this edition as we will be showing all 64 matches of the World Cup LIVE in HD on DStv.” “Our GOtv subscribers will for the first time also be able to watch all the 64 matches live on from their decoders” he added.
Explaining the extent of coverage for the World Cup on GOtv, Kingsley Afful, General Manager, GOtv Ghana said, “the GOtv offer will remain Ghc79, for the decoder, antennae plus one month viewing of the GOtv Plus package”. Adding that GOtv subscribers will enjoy all 64 World Cup games on GOtv Max and GOtv Plus packages starting from Ghs 35.
DStv subscribers will not only enjoy all the games in the comfort of their homes. Demonstrating how the DStv Now app works, Divine Befu, from DStv Digital Media explained that no matter the DStv one was on you will be able to connect up-to five mobile devices to their accounts at no additional cost to watch the World Cup live on their mobile phone.
Customers can also expect pre- and post-match analysis from world class football experts, curated magazine shows on SuperSport and for the first time, pidgin commentary from seasoned local commentators. All you have to do to get in on the excitement is purchase a DStv HD decoder for Ghs 149 which covers the decoder, installation and one month viewing if the Access package.
Meanwhile, the World Cup pop-up channel, SuperSport 14 (SS14), has been live on DStv and GOtv with an assortment of exciting content including great legacy footage, highlights, documentaries, FIFA films, classic matches and interviews. The channel also features exclusive and rare archive footage of football’s best moments and matches.
