Y 97.9 FM, Ghana’s number one urban station, is set to host the biggest pool party dubbed ‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party on April 21, Easter Sunday at West Star Hotel at Anaji in the Western Region.
‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party is a star dubbed event with a tall list of Ghanaian artistes expected to thrill patrons. Some of the artistes on the bill include Pappy Kojo, Quamina MP, Casta Troy and Bobo Dadabee among others.
Speaking about the ‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party, Y97.9FM Programmes Manager, Agyekum Gyimah, popularly known as ‘Citi Buzzer’ said the ‘Slip N Slide’ event is expected to attract party lovers to come have fun with the YFM Takoradi team and celebrities at a cool rate of GHS 10.
He urged all party lovers in Takoradi and its environs to grab their tickets from the YFM office and be part of the event on Easter Sunday.
“The exciting part of this event is that, if you purchase your ticket at GHS 10, it gives you the chance to enter into the auditions part of the upcoming ‘Live Inside and Win the Ride’ reality show.
Also the Renault Duster SUV, ultimate prize for the ‘Live Inside and Win the Ride’ competition, will be available for all patrons of the party to see it for themselves,” Mr. Gyimah stated.

The concept of Live Inside and Win the Ride competition by GMA Group, owners of YFM, Happy FM and e. TV Ghana, is to bring together five individuals from different backgrounds across the country to endure sitting together in a Renault Duster SUV. During that period, contestants are evicted till there is one person left. The ‘last man standing’ wins the car.
