YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio station, will launch the biggest community based concert , Area Codes Jam, on Republic Day July 1.

The launch of the fourth edition of the Area Codes Jam will be aired live on the four-hour stretch radio program from 3:00pm to 7:00pm ‘The Dryve’ hosted by Joel Orleans with DJ Mic Smith on the turntable.

The Programmes Manager at YFM, Eddy Blay speaking about the launch said

‘’ with what we have planned I am assuring our numerous listeners out there that we will maintain the record of the Area Codes Jam of being the number one event in Ghana that has brought entertainment to the doorsteps of the youth.

He also intimated that the venue for this year will be announced during the on-air launch.

‘’ I know you are all eager to know which community will host the Area Codes Jam this year, well just keep listening to YFM and you will find out. We have some exciting surprises for listeners during the launch so stay tuned into The Dryve so you are not left out of the fun’’ he added

It can be recalled that last year’s event was the YFM @ 10 anniversary special and YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio station, lined up great music acts like Wendy Shay, Praye, Ras Kuuku and a host of others that treated patrons to exciting performances on the Area Codes Jam stage on the 30th of November, 2018 at the Junction Mall.
