DJ Kess, Head of Music for YFM 107.9FM Accra, has been nominated for DJ Act of the Year (DJ Rab Bakari Memorial Award) at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA 2025. The awards ceremony will take place on 27th September 2025 in New Jersey, United States.
The Ghana Entertainment Awards was established to showcase the achievements of Ghanaian musicians and performing artists, acknowledging contributions from Ghanaian, African and international entertainers. The awards recognise excellence across various genres including High Life, Hiplife, Reggae, Dancehall, Comedy and Visual Arts.
DJ Kess has been a prominent figure in Ghana’s music scene, building her reputation through her work at YFM Accra. Her nomination reflects her significant contribution to promoting Ghanaian music and supporting both established and emerging artists through her platform.
