He will compete in the wheelchair racing and Para-athletics discipline in the first-ever African Para Games to be hosted by Ghana in September.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Happy FM, Botsyo believes Team Ghana will make the country proud when they compete in this year’s event.

“We are very poised to host the Para Games and go ahead to win it. In the wheelchair racing and Para-athletics discipline, we’ve never disappointed in any of the competitions we have competed in the African Games. We are surely going to win medals and even if we are unable to win Gold our least will be silver and bronze. So, I’m assuring Ghanaians that in the upcoming games, we are winning all the gold medals for the country”.

The 2023 African Paralympic Games are scheduled for September 3rd to 12th 2023.

The events to be competed when Ghana hosts the games are Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball, Goalball, Sitting Volley, and Amputee football.
