Ex Black Stars striker George Alhassan has disclosed rather bizarrely that he couldn’t stay long in South Korea because of food.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, the two-time Africa Cup of Nations winner said he moved around for months while in South Korea and hence he couldn’t get the kind of food he wanted so he found it difficult to live in the Asian country.
” I couldn’t play for long in South Korea because of food. We were always moving around and I couldn’t get the food I wanted to eat from the house so I was unhappy with my stay there. I was always eating rice and sardine because all their food had pork which I didn’t like so living in South Korea was difficult for me hence my inability to stay for long.” George Alhassan told Happy FM.
