Vice President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie is on the verge of being resigned from his position at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the GFA today, August 24.
This meeting is expected to be crunch and fiery as it will be the first time George Afriyie will meet GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi after the purported vile text message sent to the latter.
According to grapevine sources available to HappyGhana.com, a motion is set to be tabled by some members of the Executive Committee for George Afriyie’s impeachment at the meeting.
However, this imminent decision, if not rescinded, will be deemed a very unpopular one by President Nyantakyi and the Football Association as George Afriyie is seen as having been very loyal to Kwesi Nyantakyi all this while.
