Samudeen Disappointed in Himself- After Winning WORST Midfielder of the Year

Highly rated Hearts of Oak midfielder, Samudeen Ibrahim has expressed profound disappointment in himself following his poor form  in the just ended Ghana Premier League after he was voted as the Worst Midfielder in the Happy FM’s Golden Bin Awards.
The silky midfielder however attributed his poor run of form in the second round of the season to a bad injury he sustained in Heart’s first league game against New Edubiase and promised to bounce back in style.
Speaking to Happy FM Wednesday morning, the nimble-footed playmaker who signed for the Premier League giants from King Solomon  FC after winning the Most Valuable Player in the 2015 Division One league, intimated that he was disappointed in himself but promised Phobian fratenity that they will see his exploits next season.

“I know I’ve disappointed many people who were expecting so much from me and if the fans say I was the worst in my position, I’m okay with that. I started the season very well up until the time I sustained the ankle injury. Ever since I started playing football, I’ll say that was the first time I’d experienced such an injury. It affected me greatly because I believe the time I returned, the season was far gone. I’m really disappointed in myself, but i’m promising all Hearts of fans that next season, they’ll see the real Samudeen they’ve been craving for. Samudeen told Happy FM.
Happy FM’s Golden Bin Awards (Bindone d’Oro) is meant to motivate players with exceptional qualities and abilities, who failed to live up to expectation in the year under review, to lift up their game and put in a better performance the following season.
The final shortlist of six was done through votes cast by fans with inputs from some coaches and journalists. However, voting for the winner was solely from fans.
There will be subsequent awards for the Worst Striker, Overall Worst Player, Worst CEO, Worst Match Commissioner and Worst Referee.
