Happy FM’s sensational Sunday morning gospel show host, Michael Kwabena Boafo, has been voted as the Radio Gospel Show Host of the Year at the 2016 Radio and Television Personality Awards.
The silky voice presenter, affectionately known as KB Nekene who is also the host of Happy FM’s mid-morning show, shrugged off stiff competition from other industry players to scoop this prestigious accolade.
Kwabena Boafo disclosed to HappyGhana.com after the feat that relentlessness and the urge to give listeners the best and most soothing gospel music on Sunday mornings is what made the listeners vote massively for him.
He further expressed his profound gratitude to all his colleagues for the effort they put in that ultimately helped him scoop this enviable award.
