Group Nallem STM rolls out one-stop shop online platform for marketing artifacts

Ahoom online platform has been rolled out by the Group Nallem STM, one of the fastest growing clothes manufacturing companies in the country to provide a one –stop-shop for artisans and people in the creative arts industry to showcase what they do in the sector.
The ahoom platform hopes to be the number one global marketplace for Africans artists and artisans to showcase and sell their products.
The platform intends to give every artist and artisan a global terrain online platform to store and physically showcase their wares.
Speaking at the launch of the platform in Accra, Gregory A. Kankoh, the Chief Executive Officer of ahoom online retail platform said it has been a dream come true after long years of planning.
He said the platform will offer manufacturers the opportunity to sell their products online.
According to him, the company is employing e-commerce because it is the driver of the online retail market.
It is the desire of the company to train the artists in the creative industry because it a low hunger that can offer massive job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth in the country he said.
He called on the government to support the sector because it has the capacity to transform many of the youth in the country.
He reminded the government to take a look at the situation of the country being blocked by international market because of cyber fraud.
He noted that it a big blow to the industry if people are not allowed to transact business online with Ghana because of the international sanction.
He took the opportunity commend the staff for the making sure the dream of the company has come a reality.
Madam Gifty Adjei, a representative of the Ghana Export Promotion Council commend the management for having faith in the promotion of made in Ghana goods.
It has always been the desire of the council assist companies that are interested in the promotion of Ghanaians goods abroad.
She said the platform will also afford customers the opportunity to shop online and save time of traveling all the way to market.
Cutting the tape to unveil the platform, the Minister for Business Development Mohammed Awal gave the assurance that he will table the issue of Ghana being blocked on the pay pal platform with the relevant authorities for redress.
According to him, the issues of financial inclusion will be sorted out with the relevant agencies.
He said the initiative forms part of the government’s agenda to create job opportunities for the youth.
He explained that a World Bank report has it that 48 percent of Ghana’s youthful population are unemployed adding that it is in view of this that the government seeded 10 million Dollars  to support young entrepreneurs in the country.
He maintained that so far 7,000 want to be entrepreneurs have applied for the funds to enable them establish their own jobs.
He noted that now that the country has a stable Cedis because of the prudent management of the economy, manufactures can now plan their raw materials purchasing patterns
