A woman claiming to be the sister of Anas Aremeyaw Anas has warned the Tamale chief, who accused the undercover journalist of taking bribes, that they will ‘kill him spiritually’ by Monday morning if they go ahead with plans of showing video of the journalist’s involvement in corrupt acts.
Dema Naa of Tamale, who shocked the country on Friday by accusing Anas of taking a bribe of $50,000 to drop an investigation on him, was impressed upon by the faceless lady not to show the incriminating video of Anas because they are all of the same tribe.
The woman, who refused to mention her name, revealed that Anas’ camp have phoned the Dema Naa of Tamale to plead with him not to release any damaging videos of the reporter.
The woman whose identity cannot be confirmed added that since they are all ‘brothers from the same tribe’, Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah, must not do anything to damage the reputation of Anas.
Calling from a local Ghanaian number 0205818608 the woman, who was clearly scared of the prospect of seeing the Anas corruption video shown, did not mention her name and it is not clear if she is indeed the sister of the undercover reporter.
The lady mixed her plea of getting the Dema Naa of Tamale not to carry out his promise of showing Anas taking bribes before threatening him with death amid hot insults.
“In the wake of this issue, we spoke to you and said we are all Dagombas, brothers from the same place, and asked that you let sleeping dogs lie, yet you refused,” the alleged sister of Anas said.
“If you go ahead we will also meet you squarely. We will come to you and deal with you.
“You say you are an idiot and fool, I swear we will tie you down (kill you spiritually) tonight or by the morning. If we do not deal with you, then it’s us you are messing with.
“You said you would show Anas’ video and you would show it right! What will you get from doing that?
“You try and go ahead with it we will also show what we have in our possession of you. Don’t dare us.”

Anas’ integrity suffered a major blow on Friday when the Tamale chief revealed that the undercover journalist took a bribe of $50,000 to drop an investigation he was carrying out on his activities.
Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah, the Dema Naa of Tamale, made this shocking revelation on Friday revealing how Anas demanded money to drop the investigation.
The Dema Naa said he was made to part with the money fearing that the investigation would bring him embarrassment so he parted with $50,000 to Anas while his friend also parted with $50,000 to complete Anas’ demands of $100,000.
The claims by the Tamale chiefs corroborate Ken Agyapong’s claims of fraud against Anas who has been under fire from many quarters last week.
Agyapong’s allegations of fraud and corruption against were on Friday, June 1 corroborated on Net 2 TV by man claiming to have been duped by Anas.
MP for Assin Central, Agyapong has been on a mission to expose the journalist, Anas following the latter’s ‘Number 12′ expose which is set to be premiered from June 6 across the country.
The expose centres on corruption in Ghana football.
While Anas has been widely commended over his work, Kennedy Agyapong has claimed Anas’ methods of “inducement and entrapment” were unfair and self-serving and thus must be stopped.
The outspoken MP released photos of Anas and has described the journalist as an extortionist and a criminal who sells his videos to the highest bidder.
According to him, he has video evidence of Anas taking a $100,000 bribe and was going to show it after Anas’ premiere.
Below is the full chat between Anas’ sister and the Tamale chief
Anas’ Sister:  You say you are an idiot and fool, I swear we will tie you down (kill you spiritually) tonight or by the morning. If we do not deal with you, then it’s not us you are messing with.
Anas’ Sister: You said you would show Anas’ video and you would show it right! What will you get from doing that? You try and go ahead with it we will also show what we have in our possession of you. Don’t dare us.
Anas’ Sister: In the wake of this issue, we spoke to you and said we are all Dagombas, brothers from the same place, and asked that you let sleeping dogs lie, yet you refused. If you go ahead we will also meet you squarely. We will come to you and deal with you.
Tamale Chief: You know where I am, you must also show yourself and reveal your identity. You are Anas’ sister right?
Anas’ Sister: You say you will show his videos, go ahead and see.
Tamale Chief: Reveal yourself and stop hiding
Anas’ Sister: You are not even a chief, you are a thief. If you show his pictures and video you will be sorry.
Tamale Chief: It is your whole family that are thieves. Why won’t you say your brother’s name?
Tamale Chief: Tuesday we will show his video and everyone will know the sort of person he is.
