The Divisional Police Commander for Kwahu Afram Plains, DSP Christopher Klomegah, has called on residents and stakeholders in the district to support the expansion and improvement of police infrastructure to help strengthen security in the area.
DSP Klomegah made the appeal following the commissioning of a newly constructed ultra-modern three-unit washroom facility and renovated offices for the police command, undertaken by Assembly Member for Mpraeso Ntutuagya, Otis Morglo.
“This gesture is a clear example of community partnership in enhancing security. We hope more individuals and organizations will emulate this example to support our operations,” the police commander said.
Assembly Member, Otis Morglo emphasized that ensuring the safety of the community is a shared responsibility. He thanked all those who contributed to the project, stressing that such collaborations are vital for progress.
“I believe helping the police is something we must all take part in. I’m grateful to everyone who supported this effort,” Morglo said.
The District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains North, Kate Mawusi Babanawo, also commended Morglo and another native, James, for their support in renovating the district police headquarters.
“We are thankful for the commitment shown by citizens like Morglo and James. Their contributions are making a real difference in community safety,” the DCE noted.
The police command is hopeful that with continued community involvement, security infrastructure in the district will continue to improve, leading to enhanced safety for all residents.
