Calvary Faith Chapel International brought the forecourt of the Mamprobi Post Office to a standstill with the Accra Mega Valentine’s Day bash dubbed ‘Greater love 3:16.’

Speaking at the event the senior pastor of the church, Reverend Vincent Domenyo, said the event was aimed at providing a wholesome entertainment for the youth in the Mamprobi enclave. ‘’Our primary goal is to take young people off the streets and provide them with wholesome entertainment and show them that there are alternative ways to channel their energies to achieve greater heights,’’ he stated

According to Rev. Vincent Domenyo, the youth have a very wrong perception about what valentine’s day should be about.
‘’ We are by this event trying to imbibe in the youth a different understanding of valentine’s day,” he added.

The maiden edition of ‘Greater love 3:16’ brought together about a thousand people who enjoyed some good food, assorted beverages and made in Ghana chocolates.
Patrons were also treated to jaw dropping performances in choreography, poetry recitals, song ministrations etc.

Calvary Faith Chapel organizers of the event says ‘Greater love 3:16’ will be instituted as an annual event that will serve as an outreach program to win souls for the church which is a core mandate of Christianity.

However, the Valentine’s day celebration is mostly characterised by the wearing of red clothes by celebrants and in Ghana. The day is also designated as the National Chocolate Day, purposely to encourage the eating of chocolate made in Ghana as part of efforts to promote the patronage of made in Ghana goods.
