Covid-19: Beenie Man detained in Ghana for performing after testing positive

International reggae superstar, Anthony Moses Davis, popularly known as Beenie Man has been detained in Ghana by the Airport Police for flouting Covid-19 protocols.

Starrfm.com.gh sources have revealed that Beenie Man tested positive for covid-19 upon his arrival at the Kotoka International Airport last week ahead of the BhimConcert at the Conference Centre.

The Girls Dem Sugar hitmaker was asked to isolate but he managed to flout those directives and performed at the Bhimconcert with Stonebwoy and other artists.

He was detained by the Airport Police on Monday when he attempted to board a flight back to Jamaica.

According to Starrfm.com.gh sources, Beenieman is currently in Police custody assisting with investigations.
