The Minority in Parliament is of the belief that, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cannot operate with 50 Ministers should he become the President of Ghana.
According to Deputy Minority Whip, Ahmed Ibrahim, the number of people working under Dr. Bawumia as vice president alone is larger than Ministers appointed by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
He said the technical advisors, spokespersons and people at the office of Dr. Bawumia as vice president alone exceeds the 123 Ministers in the country.
“We the minority cast doubt on his promise because his office even has over 100 special aides”.
The Deputy Minority Whip also indicated that the NPP manifesto did not focus on how this government is going to relieve the country from the accumulated debt incurred by this administration to which they are highly disappointed in.
