Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed optimism about the party’s chances in the upcoming December elections.
Addressing party supporters and traders at Okaishie Market on Tuesday, October 29, he emphasized that the NPP’s steady achievements across various sectors lay the foundation for their expected victory.
He pointed to the successful implementation of the free senior high school policy as a key example of the party’s fulfilled promises, noting that the policy had initially faced skepticism from the previous administration. Dr. Bawumia indicated that despite doubts, the NPP had proven the feasibility of such initiatives.
Continuing his campaign activities in Accra, he toured major markets in the Ablekuma South and Odododiodoo constituencies. His first stop was the Tuesday Market in Ablekuma South, where he was warmly received by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters.
