Supporters of both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) faced challenges at their respective party headquarters on election day as they sought assistance to travel to their polling stations.

In both instances, party officials were absent, leaving supporters waiting for hours before transportation was eventually arranged.

At the NPP headquarters in Accra, some supporters gathered, seeking help to travel to their regions and constituencies to vote.

Speaking to happyghana.com, the supporters noted that the party had promised to facilitate transportation for them. However, the lack of immediate assistance left many frustrated and worried about being unable to cast their ballots.

The situation was exacerbated by the absence of party executives at the headquarters, as they had reportedly left to cast their own votes. Only security personnel were present, unable to provide much help. After hours of waiting, a campaign vehicle finally arrived, offering relief to the stranded supporters, who boarded after a brief discussion.

Similarly, at the NDC headquarters, the absence of party officials created delays for a few supporters who had gathered to seek transportation to the areas they have to vote. After some time, arrangements were made, and a vehicle was provided to transport them to their voting locations.
