Gov’t to absorb water bills for Ghanaians for 3 months

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that the government will absorb the water bills of all Ghanaians for the next three months.

In a nationwide broadcast, the President said “Governemnt will absorb the bills water bills of Ghanaians. For the months of April, May and June.”

He added “I have also directed the Electricity Company of Ghana and the Ghana Water Company Limited to ensure a stable supply of power and water as the country fights the deadly Coronavirus disease.”

He also announced that Government of Ghana awaits the results of 15,384 tested for the deadly coronavirus.
