The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, will this afternoon address the nation as part of the Government Accountability Series, an initiative by the Presidency Communications to update the public on major government programmes.
The session, scheduled for 2:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, will focus on critical developments within the health sector.
According to a social media post by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Health Minister will provide updates on the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares), the operations of Zipline, the Ghana Health Information Management System (GHIMS), as well as outline the sector’s outlook for 2026.
Mr. Akandoh’s appearance marks another engagement under the Government Accountability Series, which aims to promote openness and ensure citizens are informed about government initiatives and progress.
