Hiplife artiste, Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin, popularly known as Joey B, has stated categorically that he can never be broke following reports that he is struggling to cope with life’s demands after he was spotted in a ‘trotro’.
The ‘Tonga’ crooner was spotted boarding ‘troski’ around Darkuman – which sparked rumours that he’s gone broke.
Speaking to DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After Drive show, Joey B vehemently rejected that claim and stated that the scene was part of his forthcoming music video.
“They are saying I am broke, oh how can someone who has three cars be broke. I have God so I can never be poor, you see the ‘trotro’ that I was sitting in was just a site video,” Joey B told Happy FM.
“I was on site shooting my new video Nsa and truly if you watch, at the beginning of the song’s video you will see me in that ‘trotro’.”
“Please it is getting serious, they should stop saying I am poor, my uncle even called to ask what was wrong with me, because he heard the news that I am broke, I can never be poor because I have God.”
Joey B is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Nsa’.
