I've not regretted coaching the Black Starlets- Paa Kwesi Fabin

Ghana’s U17 coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin says he does not regret taking up the reins of the Black Starlets despite failing to win any trophy with the side.
The burly gaffer was handed the Black Starlets coaching role in 2013 but failed to qualify the team to the previous two FIFA juvenile World Cup tournaments.
Fabin, however, qualified the team to the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India, which was their first time since 2007, but they fell short at the quarter finals stage following their 2-1 defeat to West African neighbours Mali.
Despite his inability to win any laurel with the team, Fabin says he derives satisfaction from seeing players he nurtured turning out for the senior national team.
“Since I started with the Black Starlet squad in 2013, six of my players have earned call-ups into the senior national team, and that alone is my satisfaction. I’m talking about Thomas Agyapong, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Yaw Yaboah, Nicolas Opoku, Gideon Waja and Isaac Twum are part of the black stars,” Fabin said on Happy FM.
“Just two years ago Isaac Twum was with the Black Starlet. He captained Black Stars B to beat Nigeria 4-1 in the WAFU Cup and won best player of the tournament so that is my job satisfaction.”
“So with this U17 team winning a trophy is good but the main purpose why I was given the team is to groom players and that is what I have done, and I think I’m very satisfied.”
