Controversial Ghanaian marriage counsellor, Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt has advised the poor men to leave cheating for the rich.

Speaking on e.TVGhana’s ‘Men’s Lounge’, on the topic “Married Men And Cheating A Perception Or Reality”, Counselor Lutterodt entreated that cheating among married men should be left for the rich.

Dissecting the topic, counsellor Lutterodt pointed out that cheating among married men is real and a choice. His explanation debunked the usual excuse that cheating is a mistake and emphasised that cheating is rather a personal decision that every man makes at a point in time when he has the chance to do so. A view which was affirmed by Richard K K Owusu, who was a co-guest on the show.

According to Counsellor Luterodt, cheating, which first happened in the Garden of Eden, in simple terms is actually taking something which does not belong to you. He also highlighted that unless you are married, you can’t cheat. He remarked that cheating comes as a package with marriage.

In addition, he argued that if a married man hasn’t cheated on his partner then it is lack of opportunity. He ended by requesting that cheating should be left for the rich because it is expensive to cheat.
