An elite group of academics and experts from diverse sectors, known as the Legon Lecturers and Professionals for Ken (LLPK), has formally recommended Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the upcoming general elections on the New Patriotic Party ticket.

LLPK reached this consensus after thorough deliberations during its recent meeting held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the University of Ghana campus.

According to the group, Ken Ohene Agyapong has earned nationwide recognition and will be a marketable running mate within the NPP.

LLPK also emphasized that Ken Ohene Agyapong is poised to reinvigorate the demoralized supporters of the New Patriotic Party, with a remarkable ability to galvanize and attract additional support.

The philanthropic endeavors of Ken Agyapong were highlighted as key factors making him an outstanding choice for the NPP’s presidential ticket. With a proven track record of creating over 7,000 jobs nationwide, LLPK anticipates that support from unemployed individuals and recent graduates will bolster the NPP’s electoral prospects.

In addition to job creation, LLPK underscored Mr. Agyapong’s entrepreneurial insights, which could be leveraged to develop and implement policies aimed at revitalizing Ghana’s economy.

During their deliberations, LLPK envisioned a prosperous future for Ghana driven by Dr. Bawumia’s vision and the robust support of Kennedy Agyapong.

The NPP’s collaboration with Mr. Agyapong is expected to enhance the party’s communication strategies and expand its media reach through outlets such as Net 2 TV and Oman FM.

The 54-member group believes that Kennedy Agyapong, as the head of the Police Council, will be instrumental in resolving regional conflicts, including those in the Bawku area of northern Ghana, thereby contributing to national peace and stability.

As a prominent advocate for the populace, Kennedy Agyapong was nominated by LLPK as the ideal candidate to lead the middle and lower classes towards progress through digitization and the transformation of Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

LLPK based on these compelling facts firmly believes that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is the best running mate for Dr. Bawumia, ensuring another term for the New Patriotic Party.
