Proceedings of Friday, 7th of February 2024 was brought to a halt due to the lack of Quorum of members to start business.
During proceedings ,the minority deputy whip , Habib Iddrisu in accordance to Standing Oder 64(1) drew Speaker’s attention that the House does not constitute a quorum to start business and therefore called for adjournment.
The House had only 30 members as at the time the issue of quorum was raised, meanwhile the Oders damand 91 members to commence business.
The First deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor presiding over proceedings adjourned the House till next week Tuesday after members of the majority failed to whip its members
