Marian Marie Addo, CEO of Marie Cakes and Executive Member of the National Young Women’s Wing of the NDC, in a heartwarming display of generosity and commitment to community development, honoured the youth of Priscilla Presby Congregation during the launch of its Youth and Students Week’24.

The event, celebrated annually by the Young People Guild (YPG) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, commenced with a spirit of faith, community, and growth.

Themed “Jesus Christ, The Alpha and Omega; Testifying of His Glory and Marvelous Deeds,” this year’s Youth and Students Week promised an array of engaging and impactful activities aimed at empowering the youth.

As part of the celebrations, the YPG of the Priscilla Congregation initiated a project to refurbish and uplift the washroom conditions within the church premises.

Marian Marie Addo, who also serves as the Deputy Women’s Organizer for the Ablekuma West Constituency (Dansoman) and heads the RESCUE THE YOUTH initiative, graciously donated a substantial amount of Ghc 6,000 towards the completion of this project.

Despite the recent loss of her brother, Marian Marie Addo’s unwavering dedication to serving and empowering the youth was evident as she graced today’s event for the YPG. Her presence was a testament to her commitment to community service and youth empowerment.

In addition to her role as CEO of Marie Cakes and head of RESCUE THE YOUTH, Marian Marie Addo serves as an Executive Member of the National Young Women’s Wing for the NDC and holds the position of special aid to the current NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Rev. Dr. Kweku Addo.

The Priscilla Congregation extended its sincere condolences to Marian Marie Addo on her recent loss and expresses eternal gratitude for her generosity and support towards the Youth and Students Week’24 celebrations.
