Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has made an impassioned plea for national spiritual renewal, urging Ghanaians to seek God’s intervention to purge the country of corruption, moral decline, and division.
Speaking at the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving service at the Calvary Charismatic Centre in Kumasi, Dr. Amoakohene anchored his message on the need for collective humility and repentance, drawing on Scripture to underscore the urgency of the moment.
“May God cleanse our land. We pray that God heals our land from all the rot, from all the corrupt activities, from all the things that destroy this country.”
Dr. Amoakohene also called for a renewed sense of national unity and direction.
“We seek that God gives us one heart of purpose, of unity, and of vision that will drive our national developmental agenda,” he emphasized.
