The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has issued a warning about the dangerous conditions on the Brimso Bridge, a part of the N6 Highway connecting Accra and Kumasi.

In a press release dated March 24, 2025, the NRSA highlighted critical safety risks such as broken guardrails, a bumpy and deteriorated road surface, the absence of warning signs, and poor visibility caused by the lack of streetlights.

To address these hazards and prevent accidents, the NRSA has called on the Ghana Highway Authority to take swift action.

Meanwhile, drivers using the route are urged to slow down, particularly at night, and exercise extra caution while navigating the bridge.
