President Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo has praised his administration for being the government with the highest number of roads and interchanges constructed in Ghana’s history.

President Akufo Addo made this bold affirmation as the guest of honor at the commissioning ceremony of the Flowerpot Interchange along the Spintex Road, where he made mention of the importance of road networking and its contribution to development in Ghana.

He indicated that the Flowerpot Interchange adds up to a long list of road projects that have seen completion in the Greater Accra Region and in other regions as well. Some of these road projects according to the President include, the Pokuase Interchange, Tema Motorway Interchange Phase 1, Obetsebi Interchange Phase 1, East Legon Underpass, Flowerpot Interchange, Suhum Interchange and Tamale Interchange.

“It is fitting to acknowledge that this administration has constructed more roads and interchanges than any other in our nation’s history. Each of these projects tells a story of commitment, foresight of a Ghana that is continually moving forward.

The President added that his administration is currently supervising 14 other road projects across the nation which are underway and in their respective stages towards completion and commissioning for use.
