A former government appointee in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, Baba Jamal has questioned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Addo’s government to mention a good policy they have implemented apart from the Free Senior High School policy.

According to Baba Jamal, the NPP is good at bringing out a new policy but the implementation is what they lack.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia Constituency said, “my only problem with the NPP is that their implementation is very bad, they can talk big, they will say things but they can’t implement it. Nana told us to give him only 18 months to change the fortune of the country”.

He said he will make Accra the cleanest city, now the city is worse than ever. These are some of the things he said and has gone contrary to it, that is why some of us don’t trust him. They brought manifesto prior to the 2016 general elections and promised Ghanaians the whole world. Is that what they are doing?

He revealed that, the reasons why the NDC did not challenge Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, when he asserted and scored the NPP 78% of its electoral promises. “They were all lies and the NDC doesn’t have time to challenge lies”.

Bawumia strongly defended the records and achievements of the Nana Akufo-Addo-led administration, saying that, it has achieved 78% of its manifesto.

Using a combination of graphs, tables, and evidence-based presentations, Vice President Bawumia outlined a long list of achievements chalked by the NPP government since 2017.
