The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially announced that its National Chairman, Stephen Ayensu Ntim has temporarily stepped aside from the ongoing nationwide “Thank You” tour to attend to pressing matters.

In a statement signed by the party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP assured members and the public that the Chairman remains fully committed to the tour and will rejoin the team in due course.

“The New Patriotic Party wishes to inform all members and the public that the National Chairman has taken a short break from the ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You’ tour to attend to some pressing matters,” the statement read.

The party expressed its appreciation for the continued support, enthusiasm, and cooperation of its members across the country during the tour.

The “Thank You” tour is part of the NPP’s post-election engagement with party faithful and the general public, aimed at showing gratitude and fostering unity ahead of future political activities.

The party has not disclosed the specific nature of the matter requiring the Chairman’s attention or the expected date of his return to the tour.
