Ohene Bampoe Brenya re-elected SWAG ExCo member

Ohene Bampoe Brenya, the dynamic host of Happy Sports on Happy 98.9FM, triumphantly retained his position as an Executive Council Member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

Brenya, a distinguished figure in Ghanaian sports journalism, secured the second highest votes to claim one of the 3 available seats to continue serving as an Executive Member of SWAG. This remarkable victory solidifies his dedication to the field.

Notably, Ohene Bampoe Brenya also holds the role of Marketing and Brands Manager for the renowned Ghana Women’s Premier League team, Hasaccas Ladies.

The full list of victors in the 2023 SWAG Elections includes:

  • President: Kwabena Yeaboah (Unopposed)
  • Vice-President: Evelyn Nsiah Asare
  • General Secretary: Charles Osei Asibey – unopposed
  • Deputy General Secretary: Kenneth Odeng Adade
  • Treasurer: Owuraku Nsiah
  • Women’s Commissioner: Mavis Amanor – unopposed
  • Executive Committee Members: Franklyn Anane Gyimah, Tilda Elinam Acolor, and Ohene-Brenya Bampoe.
