The Republican National Committee kicks off its convention today in Milwaukee to formally nominate Donald Trump as their GOP presidential candidate for a third time.
Trump’s choice of a running mate is also expected to be announced during the four-day convention.

President Joe Biden on Sunday condemned the attempted assassination and called on Americans “to lower the temperature in our politics.” Biden also ordered an independent review of security measures at the rally. He’s set to participate in an interview tonight with NBC News.
