The “Yes I do” hitmaker, Becca has disclosed that the songs she does are songs that everyone can relate to. According to her she never makes music based on her personal experiences.
She made this statement on Happy FM’s “Ayekoo After Drive” show with DJ Advicer.
“ For example with my first song ‘You Lied To Me’, everyone could relate to it because we all have either been lied to by our brothers, sisters or boyfriends”, she said.
She, however, added that the only song that she could very well relate to was her “African Woman” song.
“African Woman was quite personal to me. I could relate to it because I am a woman. I knew I had to sing a song for all women out there”, she added.
Becca is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and actress who has been active in the music scene from 2007 till now after she came into the limelight as a contestant in the second season of the music talent show, Mentor.
