Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has reaffirmed his support for the New Patriotic Party’s 2024 Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

At a press conference held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Ex President Kufuor made a bold statement regarding the state of global leadership and what he describes as Ghana’s unique opportunity.

He emphasized the scarcity of quality leadership worldwide, as he pointed to Dr. Bawumia as an excellent example of the caliber of leader Ghana needs.

He emphasized the multifaceted demands of modern governance, stressing the necessity for a leader with a comprehensive vision spanning technology, societal governance, economics

“We want leadership with a complex vision capable of commanding all aspects of governance from technology, societal governance economics and geopolitics. Dr. Bawumia is the right quality to lead Ghana,” he stated.

Ex president Kufuor believes the universe is perfectly aligned for Vice President, Dr. Bawumia to be President.

“Dr. Bawumia is destined to be President of the Republic. He was fashioned by destiny for this time and to take Ghana to the next level. I have a strong feeling he is the man of the moment and Ghana must accept him,” he added.

He said, he is confident the NPP can #BreakThe8 as he called on party executives and loyalists forge a united front to maintain power come 2024 elections.
