The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a warning of localized thunderstorms and rain across Accra, Kasoa, and parts of the Ashanti Region later today.
Areas likely to be affected include Accra, Kasoa, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, and Sefwi Bekwai.
The forecast indicates sunny conditions will give way to unstable weather patterns in the afternoon, with thunderstorms or rainfall expected to continue into the evening.
GMet has advised the public to stay alert to changing weather conditions, especially in areas prone to flooding and lightning during thunderstorms.
Motorists are also advised to drive with caution as reduced visibility may affect movement.
