President-elect Donald Trump is set to be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025.

The ceremony, according to reports, will be held inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda due to extreme weather conditions, marking his return to office following a non-consecutive term, a feat achieved only once before by Grover Cleveland.

Trump secured the presidency after winning the 2024 election with 312 electoral votes, defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who garnered 226 votes. This victory signifies a resurgence in Trump’s political influence after his first term ended in 2021.

The days leading up to the inauguration featured a “victory rally” in Washington, D.C., where Trump celebrated his return to power alongside supporters, notable figures, and artists, including Kid Rock.

During the rally, he outlined plans for sweeping policy changes, including stricter immigration laws, cultural reforms, and reduced government spending.

The inauguration ceremony will welcome international dignitaries, including China’s Vice President Han Zheng.

Following the swearing-in, President Trump is expected to sign a series of executive orders to jumpstart his policy agenda.
