Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has renewed efforts to strengthen collaboration with local authorities and inspect ongoing development initiatives across the region.
As part of a working visit to the Ketu South Municipality, Gunu met with key stakeholders to discuss developmental priorities and reinforce government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and public services.
The Minister held meetings with the Municipal Chief Executive and staff of the Ketu South Assembly, engaged management of Diamond Cement, and paid courtesy calls on traditional leaders including Togbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, Torgbiga Adama III, and Togbui Addo VIII.
In a series of stakeholder engagements, Mr. Gunu emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable regional development.
He also toured land earmarked for the construction of a modern market in Aflao a project expected to boost local commerce and create jobs.
The visit forms part of broader efforts by the Regional Coordinating Council to monitor development projects and align them with community needs and national priorities.
