Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated his commitment not to allow for the proliferation and practice of homosexual activities in Ghana when elected president of Ghana

According to Dr. Bawumia he will not accept any such activity as it’s against the tradition and culture of Ghana.

He says, “I hope you have heard of LGBTQ+, where a man can marry a man likewise a woman, under a Bawumia presidency it will never happen”.

He emphasized that, his presidency will never condone such act in the country as he will be very firm in that regard.

“No matter what the cost we will defend our tradition, value, religion, our culture, we will not accept it, because it will destroy our country”.

He said this in Awutu Senya West in the Central Region where he was addressing chiefs and party supporters on his campaign rally.
