The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has revealed that Ghanaians are now facing the results of the wrong choice they made in the 2016 elections.

According to him, the current administration won the hearts of Ghanaians by lying to gain their voter and that is why the country is facing challenges.

Speaking to the people of Savannah Region as part of this two day tour, Mahama urged the people not to repeat what they did in 2016 or else they will continue to face more challenges if they vote for NPP again.

“The NPP made a lot of promises that they did not fulfill so any attempt to choose NPP by bringing them to power again will have ripple effects on the country in the near future” he noted.

“The current challenges facing Ghana are as a result of the choices made by Ghanaians during 2016 elections.”

Some of the issues this government failed to address according to Mr Mahama is the cause of “our current situation including economic hardship and high level of unemployment facing the youth”.
