The Ghana Prisons Service has today, Monday, January 19, 2025, commenced the second phase of its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise at designated screening centres across all 16 regions of the country.
The ongoing phase focuses on body selection and the verification of documents submitted by shortlisted applicants during the online application process to ensure their authenticity.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, the exercise is being conducted at about 70 screening centres nationwide, a measure aimed at preventing overcrowding and ensuring a smooth and orderly screening process.
The Ministry had earlier indicated that the recruitment would be carried out in two sessions, morning and afternoon to effectively manage crowd control at the various centres.
Shortlisted applicants have been advised to strictly adhere to their assigned dates and time slots and report promptly to their respective screening centres.
Applicants are required to present their summary sheet, Ghana Card, birth certificate, Junior High School certificate, and any other relevant documents for verification.
Candidates are also expected to appear in the prescribed attire, comprising black or blue track trousers, a white, blue, or grey shirt, and white or black canvas shoes or boots. The dress code is intended to ensure decency and facilitate an efficient screening process.
The Service has urged applicants to regularly check their SMS messages, emails, and the official recruitment portal for updates on their screening schedules and designated centres.
