Joseph Paintsil is set to be given a late call-up to the Black Stars for the friendly against Iceland.
The former Tema Youth attacker has been in spectacular form for his club side Ferencvaros scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists in 24 appearances for the Hungarian side.
And according to reports, Black Stars Management Committee Chairman, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer, has contacted the player to communicate the news.
Some Black Stars players called up for the doubleheader friendlies against Japan and Iceland are expected not to make the trip to Iceland, hence the inclusion of Painstil.
Already Wakaso have opted not to join the team ahead of Japan match.
