"Nana Addo should swear by JB Danquah's tomb that he's not taken a penny from Nyantakyi" – Naziru

A member of the Communications team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Naziru Mohammed has dared President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to swear by his late uncle tomb J.B Danquah, that he has never taken a penny from the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Mr Naziru speaking on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show he said, “Nana Addo should come out and swear by JB Danquah’s tomb that he has never taken a penny from Nyantakyi as a form of aid during his campaign as opposition leader. He [Nana Addo] calling for the arrest of Kwesi is one of his cover up tactics.”
He added that the move by the president is just to derail the public from speaking about the alleged corruption at the National Communication Authority (NCA) and Ministry of Communications.
“It’s part of a diversionary tactic introduced by government to move public attention from the “controversial” Ministry of Communications contract with Kelni GVG.”
President Akufo-Addo reported the head of the country’s football governing body to the police after watching a video documentary by investigative journalist, Anas Aremaeyaw Anas, in which Mr Nyantakyi is allegedly captured engaging in some influence peddling using the names of the president and his Vice.
Kwesi Nyantakyi who was on an international assignment arrived in Accra on Wednesday morning at the Kotoka International Airport and was swiftly taken to the CID headquarters for interrogation.
