Happy 98.9FM, eTV Ghana in partnership with HD+ has delivered on its promise by rewarding the lucky winners of the predict and win promo during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Asante George, Ivy Irene Arthur and Frederick Nyarkoh were the lucky winners to win the predict and win promo.


The trio were presented with decoders with a five month free subscription and other prizes by HD+ during the Happy Sports show which was presented by the Head of Marketing, SES HD PLUS GH, Mrs Adelaide Abbiw- Williams.

“HD+ stands for TV viewing experience and we want to share that with Ghanaians all over the country. Our partnership with Happy FM is because of your coverage and programs that is why we partnered with the station”, she said on the reason behind the partnership.

The winners also shared their experience and excitement in participating in the predict and win promo.


“I was confident I will win this time around after trying several times”, George Asante told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya host of Happy Sports.

“I just predicted and I wasn’t expecting to win. I am happy to have won and also happy to win the HD+ decoder”, a delighted Ivy Irene Arthur said after picking up the decoder.

Mrs Adelaide Abbiw- Williams thanked all users of the HD+ decoders and urged others to subscribe.
“We will thank all our customers who have accepted the HD+ feeli feeli experience. If you want Sports, Telenovelas, Baby channels it’s all available”.

HD+ offers great convenience to its customers with the search, pause, reverse, and record features as well as the ability to link the HD+ Decoder to a mobile phone via the My HD PLUS App. Customers have the choice on how, when and where they can enjoy the HD+ Service.

HD+ offers over 100 channels in SD for free with superior features such as a 7-day electronic programming guide, Parental Access Control and Logical Channel Numbering system which makes it easier to locate channels since all channels have been assigned a permanent number and been arranged according to genres.

HD+ Decoders are available at all Multi TV dealer outlets and Electroland stores across the country for purchase and can be activated on any mobile network by dialing *879# to unlock the HD viewing experience
